Family Music Makers is more than just a music class— it's a musical journey designed for children ages newborn through seven years old.

Through our unique music, movement and theatre programs, you and your child(ren) can grow musically together. Musical journeys can begin as soon as you and your baby are ready! Our Little Music Makers classes are all mixed ages for the convenience of being able to bring more than one child to the same class, and developmentally it’s exciting for the older children to model the music, and for the younger children to imitate. Many children want to stay involved after they turn 4, so that’s why we have developed our Kidstompers class for ages 3-5, and our Kidservatory class, a musical theatre program for 4-7 year olds. Now we have children who take classes continually from before they can walk, to the time when they can take the stage and sing independently into a microphone!

What makes us unique? OUR MUSIC! As music educators first and foremost, we have always wanted to share the many different kinds of music we love with you. There is so much wonderful music in the world!  Because there are so many music genres, our selection process changed from what-to-include to what to exclude. Our current library includes:

American children’s classics, Originals, Nursery Rhymes in hip jazz arrangements, Lullabies, Popular Songs from another Era, American Folk Songs, Gospel, Jazz, Patriotic Songs, Rock Music, and World Music. 

Another important value was to present the authentic sound of each genre. We did this by bringing musicians expert in each genre into the recording studio.  We are proud to say that over forty musicians participated in the recording of the songs on The Rainbow Collection.
