Hey kids, let's put on a show!

For children in K - 2nd grades, this more advanced theater class meets once a week to prepare a Cabaret style show to be performed live at the end of the session!

Children work to rehearse songs and scenes from famous Broadway musicals. Recent performances include "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, "I Don't Need Anything But You" from Annie, and "Wick" from The Secret Garden.

Cast members receive vocal, dance, and acting training. Everyone gets a part!

Program Goals:

Teach stage direction, diction, and voice projection
Encourage character development
Explore imagination
Develop stage presence
Foster cast teamwork
Instill confidence

This class meets at our Back Bay location at the First Church of Boston.
